Director Shareholding

The Tanfield Group Plc has been informed that Mr Darren Kell, Chief Executive of the Company, purchased 700,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 8.25 pence per share on 30 September 2008. 

Following this transaction, Mr Kell holds 1,700,000 shares representing 0.45% of the Company's current issued share capital.
